Looks like you two had a great time, and there is no doubt that he really enjoyed being out hunting with you. I look forward to doing the same with my kids when they reach that age. 
At what range did Warren shoot the prarie dog?

Absolutely. Is there any other way?
One thing I should mention is that Warren always uses goggles instead of shooting glasses, and I use goggles about half the time. The reason is that I am convinced with enough shooting there will eventually an accident, whether it be a ruptured case or whatever. So we are trying to always be prepared.
