More and more questions
      #112452 - 25/08/08 04:08 AM

Hello friends:

I wonder who has the power to stop Rigby 416, compared with 458 Lott. In particular I want to ask whether the property with 416 Rigby kills an elephant, an African buffalo, a rhinoceros or a hippopotamus that burden against the hunter. I know that if Lott 458 overthrew these dangerous animals with solvency. On the other hand, I can tell you that I have a 375 H & H Magnum, what size you buy in my case? Thanks and forgive the inconvenience.

Oscar.

If you can, try and shoot both of them. Then you will have more information to base your decision on. As you know I like the Lott, but I also like most all of the big bore rifles! All the rifles you have mentioned are capable of taking any game on the planet. When I comes to stopping big nasty animals that are coming to kill me, more is better, as long as you can shoot it well. I happen to have chosen the .458 lott.

So when he acquires please, I love you include photographs of the weapon and cartridge. The day that I can buy the rifle at 458 Lott, I'll try to make pictures, although I do with my mobile phone. Me too I love to talk about these large sizes and potential of, I also love reading experiences of you especially on the African continent. Thank you for your willingness to follow,

A hug,

Oscar.

I leave for Zimbabwe friday to hunt buffalo and hippo in the Sapi concession near Mana Pools. Hopefully I will have many photos to post when I return. I feel sure the Lott will do its job if I do mine!

Go bigmaxx, I wish you good luck and tell you that you have very careful. The African continent is a dangerous place. I'd like showing the photos to see your rifle's 458 Lott and you get trophies. Thank you for all fellow fans,

My best wishes,

Oscar.

Hello again [Re: ovny]
      #119629 - 28/11/08 05:44 AM

Hey, I do not write in this magnificent forum for some time. I stopped writing because I have momentarily abandoned the project to purchase a large caliber rifle. I bought a Norinco pistol from the 45 ACP caliber, but I've begun again to save for the big rifle.

Happy Holidays,

Oscar.

I think you are going to like the .45. It is a good round.

Now I want to challenge you to do one thing. Start a different thread and tell us what life is like for shooters & hunters in Spain. I love to travel but due to job constraints & such I can't do much.

I can summarize what you soon, the lives of hunters in Spain is very hard, especially because of our legislation on the possession and use of weapons, which is very restrictive. In Spain there is a specific form of so-called big game hunting. I'm going to copy some links to web sites dedicated to hunting and weapons in Spain.

A greeting,

Oscar.
