Greetings all!

Has anyone used this? Does it replace Standard military bottom metal?

Thanks,

John

Looks like the magazine on .425 Westley Richards and the .500 Shuler. How much is it?

Nice Rigby peepsight as well. Pity they have no info on set triggers. Thanks for this info.

JTG,

Did you e-mail Theo Jung? I have heard that he is one of the nicest people besides being a genius with Mausers...

Ashok,

If Herr Jung makes this sight and set triggers, they should be among the best accessories available anywhere. He is known as a perfectionist.

Another very reputable gunmaker whom you could check with for parts is Gottfried Prechtl.

"The magazine extension is fastened to the bottom metal and replaces the floorplate, follower and follower spring.

The cartridges are arranged in zig-zag fashion, in two rows, as in the original, since the existing bottom metal is used and offers the same amount of room as in the original arrangement.

The price for the arrangement is 96 Euros for the 8 shot model, 105 Euros for the 10 shot model."

I forgot to ask if the magazines are available in various lengths, but my assumption is that they fit only original standard length (8X57 length) actions.

Mehul-

Once again, great link.
Are you getting all of your european and asian gunbuilder and gunpart contacts into the permanent gunsmithing parts thread?

You should!

The Prechtl site is just fantastic.
I found an absolutely beautiful (for so many reasons) diopter sight for stutzen rifles in his gunsight selection

I'm guessing that this is not too very expensive too.
I've seen so many nice old stutzen rifles missing their lollipop sights - it's great he's supporting such cool old world niches with his product line.

Thanks for shining a light on his site for us.
I often think it would be great to have you as a next-door neighbor.
This website is a great bridge for us all to get together and share gems of information like this.
