Broken horned buffalo in SA?
      #108605 - 01/07/08 12:25 AM

I´m looking for a real old dagga boy, are there any in SA? Trophy size doesn´t matter to me, horns can be broken off, hunting area got to be huge. No ´canned´buffalo please...

Yes, there are some monster Cape Buffalo in RSA, especially in the areas bordering Kruger Park. But be prepared to pay handsomely for them.

I dont know about SA, but my research indicates a good place for daggaboys is the Zambezi valley of Zimbabwe. I am going there in september to look for one with Roger Whittall Safaris. Apparently the old bulls gather in loose bachelor groups late in the season. Hope you find one. Good luck!
