here is the final pics of one of the knives i had att the knife show here in sweden..
i finally got the sheath done.. what do you guys think???














Here is a pic of an uppcomming project... cut out of 5mm 12C27 total length just over 8 1/4"
with a blade 3½" long.

Very nice. I have a friend who just started making damascus knives. Wish I had the skill and patience you guys have!

have you tried? give it a go, make the first one a inexpensive blade so if it gets buggerd upp
it wont haunt you to long.....

I might. This guy, his name is James Miller, does damascus with alot of interesting stuff. From alternate mild and carbon sheets of steel to stuff like ball bearings, pieces of cable, and machine chain. He has some georgeous stuff. I am going to try to get some materials for handles in Zimbabwe in September. If I can figger out how to post pics I will put some on here.
