I just thought I'd throw some props out for the Armored Humidor. A waterproof Pelican case with a dehumidifier packet that works for 6 months or so with no screwing around.
Mine holds 8 cigars and has been rafting, Fishing, Hunting and banged around the world a couple of times.
They come bigger but i think the size I have is perfect.

Yes, that's what I meant.  They don't have the slash on the packet.
Surprisingly, at least to me, is that it actually is waterproof.

Not really. Those 8 cigars last me a long time. It is only when I am extremely content with something that I have done and have a good Brandy or Bourbon handy that I smoke one.
Although I have been know to light up on the river while floating or after a particularly nice fish.
Sort of appreciating the moment.
That's why I need something that is indestructible and doesn't need to be attended to.

You cannot properly steelhead fly fish, without being calf-deep in a great river, wide brimmed hat on and a descent cigar sticking out of your mouth, while the grease-line fly is skimming across just under the surface on a perfect drift.
