This would be a fun gun to take to Africa and hunt everything you would hunt the 375 with!!

It is a Dakota 404 from Champlin's!! I like it!!

Unusual stock grain - is it Claro / Black walnut?

The wood is gorgeous. I prefer the darker classic English African rifle look, but it's beautiful all the same.

...and correctly bent!

No way could I get my eye behind those express sights with a stock as high as that! Might as well leave the open sights off, if stocking the rifle exclusively for a scope.
