Another beauty. I have the same model, but not engraved like this. I am impressed, and more than a bit jealous. Dave

My God! That is a lovely rifle. That is what a rifle should be. Is the .256 the same as the 6.5X53R Dutch ? I would love to see the full view of the rifle and read more about her if you have this.

Wonderful rifle.

I see the rib going forward from the reciever and back from the front sight. Does it run the full length of the barrel?

How is the buttstock finished? Pad, leather, steel, horn, etc?

Straight grip or pistol?

Details, I want more details, please. More, more, more.......

Ben, the Gibbs has a new home.....and will under go a complete restoration by a build member. You have a few toys I'm envious of, stop up and visit sometime. As to the Westley....it has a pistol grip stock finished to a steel plate and a full length rib. More pictures when I get a chance. It shoots little tiny groups, but I need to make a new front sight for it as it shoots high....it requires both taking a very fine bead and a 6 o'clock hold. I hope to take a nice whitetail with it someday, but not this year....this year I have high hopes for my little Henry black powder double rifle.
Steve
