HI Guys

I am sure You have already been asked this but is a Husqvarna under lever or top lever.

Strong enough to make a BPE double rifle on. if not is a Brno

Thanks
Neil

Hi!

The underlever was also built as a capegun and chambered for some of the old express cartridges.
450 and 500 if my memory is right.

450-366

Thanks for the reply. I got a better look at the underlever not the best looking sxs but I do like

The looks of the top lever. I don't know much about shotguns so bear:) with me.

I have come across a W. Richards side lever 10ga. but would the action be to big for a Double rifle

Thanks
Neil

Yeas that old underlever sure is ugly, and in sweden they are as common as cars.
Cant remember if the toplever was chambered for larger than the 12,7x44r and 450 BPE.
But you could get any of them chambered for brass cartridges loaded with roundballs or ogivals in 20,24,28 bore.
By the way the toplever is actually a sauer & sohn made under licence.

If i could choose between a husky and W.R I would go for the W.R, and it would not be to big for an 10 bore anyway.

I was thinking 450#2 450BPE or maybe 577-500

Sauer that sould be a nice shotgun

I have a lot to learn about shotguns but thats half the fun

Well both hysky was chambered in the 450bpe, but the toplever sure looks better to me anyway.
But the W.R with a set of 12 gauge paradox rifled barrels would be nice to have .
