Having had a great buffalo hunt last year near the Binga-Zambezi Escarpment in Zimbabwe, I'm close to pulling the trigger on another safari, this time to the renowned Unit 4 Matetsi hunting block. What I know of it is limited to a few articles, along with comments from industry insiders, but I would very much be interested in hearing from any members with personal experience there.
The plan would be to arrive in early September and hunt another buffalo (last year resulted in a nice, mature bull with a 42.5" spread), along with hyena, zebra, and warthog on the menu. I've heard that this is one of the great hunting areas in Southern Africa, let alone Zimbabwe. Any thoughts, comments, experiences would be welcome!

Well it used to be. Not sure if that would still aply after the trouble in Zim the last few years.
