I should just not comment as it would not be nice about this outfit.

Well I haven't heard anything good about them ...

I wouldn't upgrade. If you want to do more if it was me I would "upgrade" with another outfitter.

We had a NE member whom bought at an auction a few years back with them and the hunt was alledgedly ffffed up, not in the right country and all sorts of stuff and the club that auctioned the safari couldn't give a stuff either by the way.

Sorry not the news you probably want to hear.

PS No need to "go to Arab Reloading" to hear about OOA.

Well, I guess even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then. My son and I hunted with OOA in 2005 in Limpopo. The quarters were good, food fine, PHs were nice guys. We both took some nice animals. Nothing special, just average.
The only complaint we had, we were hunting the same block every day. We had to drive 1 hour every morning to get to it. Roads were terrible.
You pays your money and takes your chances!
My advice, go to Namibia. We hunted there first so was spoiled for SA. We hunted with a small outfit, Hentie Van Heerden is the owner/PH. No Agents or Outfitters. Lots of good PHs out there. We found that Namibia was cheaper than SA.
Good luck.

I wonder if anyone has dealt with Kelly's safaris. I see their advertisement in Rifle & Handloader each month. Some of their rates look very cheap compared to those mentioned by the experienced guys on this forum - why?

You're a lucky man! Mine likes shopping, but she's coming round to the idea that bonefish live in places with nice beaches for sunbathing and also announced the other day that she wanted to see a lion, so there's hope yet!
All the best

Train her right!!

Keep her away from shopping malls and live in the country!!If she gets addicted to spending money you got real problems. If you are not going to have children you gotta keep her buzy!!

Get fit, stay healthy and active!!

Dunno if I had a 21 yr old fiancee that I would ever afford to see Africa--Probably die quickly with a grin on my face though--

Good luck bwananelson, personally a 21 year old boy would end up pissing me off. Then I'd have to replace him with another one. That would be a routine every three months more than likely.
