Oh yeah - like that one too. Very nicely designed & petite, like the rifle.

I give up……IMGUR has changed their website (why?) and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the pictures here any longer.

Too bad, I did belly shots of my Alex Henry 10Bore rifle plus my two H&H 10 Bores (rifle & paradox)

This is from a 1904 H&H Royal Deluxe. Very unusual and atypical engraving on the locks and belly.

That certainly is a-typical. Asian elephant in the tropics and brown bear in the mountains. What is on the locks?

Yes, unusual indeed.
I quite like the elephant, not the usual game-scene as so many were mounted with howdahs for the hunt, rather than depicted as quarry.

Tried to kid myself that bruin could be a sloth bear in the Hindu Kush, but nah...

...and that chambering would be banned throughout the Raj just 3 years later!

BTW: here's the belly of the Rigby Rising Bite 12-bore shotgun that accompanied me to the goose swamps recently.
Again, nice to reference all things "Rigby" this year as a celebration of their 250th Anniversary.
Hope they are still making fine London guns in 2275!

The left lock has a lion stalking wildebeest. The right lock has a tiger stalking black buck. The gun was built for Holland’s representatives Guinard & Cie in France. In 1946 Holland resold it to FLT Stuart Fuller Sandys in Southern Rhodesia.
