What is it for?
      #96688 - 14/02/08 04:56 AM

This past weekend, while looking at a friend's new Chapuis .470 I noticed what looked like a short, perhaps 1/8" piece of metal sticking out between the barrels, at the muzzle. My friend didn't know what it was, and I thought perhaps that metal wedge is how the barrels are regulated. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

That is correct. Don't attempt to move it! Take care, Tom

Thanks for the information. I was pretty sure that's what it was. Nothing else made sense to me.
