Will any of you be attending the Little Johns Auction in Socal this next week? I may be going. If so, let me know.

Armbar.

Never Heard of it! What kinds of goodies would they have for sale, that would put me in the doghouse with "The Boss"?

Here is the link...http://www.littlejohnsauctionservice.com/. To members of this forum the most interesting things would be found in session IV (Wednesday evening). There are a few Constantine DR's, some .458's and a .470NE. That's why I asked in another thread if anyone has heard of them. Check them out starting at lot#1238 and up.

Armbar.

I have been to it before an got a rifle there.

You can get a good deal there cause not very many people there buy the larger caliber rifles.

the ordinary guns get bid high on, so not much chance of getting a deal on one, but those double you can get cheep there. (usually)

I bought a few guns there, and couldn't believe how cheap they hammered at. Nice folks too.

Lil John Gangel got his start with Bob Els of Els Fargo along with Big Mitch and Mo Gronski, all Southern California well known antique gun specialists. I would imagine the guns at John's auctions that go for the best prices would be old Colts, Winchesters, and 19th Century American guns.
