So many of us have said what we hope to find and get in Africa but what about Africans. What kind of animals would you like to hunt in Aus or NA?
Would you expect similiar accomodations as are provided over there? Can you live in smelly and dirty clothes? No washing and steep hills to climb, on foot?
The reason I ask is because I've just invited a friend from Zambia over here hunting for the 9th or 10th time and again he says he can't imagine roughing it over here. I guess 'my camp' isn't up to standards.

This is off-topic as I'm not from Africa, but...
As difficult as this is to believe, one of the buffalo outfitters in Australia wanted me to come over there on a deeply discounted hunt several years ago if I tried to write an article about the hunt. I didn't even have the money for a cheapy hunt...
and if I went to Aussie Land it would have been instead of going to Africa that year. I decided on Africa.
African hunting is steeped in tradition and the extensive literature chronicles more than a hundred years of big game hunting adventures there. It is just tough to comptete with African dangerous game hunting.

My good friend NitroX has invited me a couple of times to come and hunt Oz.Unfortunately my bank manager is a greenie. I would love to hunt other continents but it is just to expensive for us.One day I'll take up the buff offer in Australia but I doubt that I'll have money to hunt other regions.

Several years ago, a P.H. friend and his son hunted with me in Wyoming. They each took a very nice Whitetail and Pronghorn. They loved it, but had a tough time with the "cold" and snow.
