F. Dupont Double rifle

i have just baught myself a 9,3x74R double rifle made by F.Dupont. I belive it is a Belgian or French maker but i am not sure. is there anyone who can help me?

I don't find a listing in either Belgian or French makers. What do the proof marks say? If it's Belgian and in 9.3X74R, it should have a "PV" and "B. Blindee" on the flats somewhere.

They were the retailer located in Leige, the name is FranKois Dupont. So the gun is most likely Belgium, however post the proof marks so we can be certain, as they did import Austrian guns as well.

At last the gun has come to my house. It is clearly belgian due to the proof marks. F. dupont my be the retailer (F. Dupont is written with small letters under the top lever. exept that the gun is witout markings. Regarding that it is belgian is remarkly few markings on the flats. I do not find anything whom mya tell me who is the producer.It is marked with 2x "MAGI" under the down barrel. It is also a stylised eagels head. The action has "SL" marked in front of the number. The inside of the lockwork is gold platet. If anyone can help me i can mail some photoes of the rifle. I have only testet a few shots and two shots is within 2,5cm on 60m. i do not know itis crossing.

Do post pictures whenever you find time. You do have something nice to show off and I can assure you that all members here enjoy appreciating pictures of fine rifles.
