I can tell you guys from experience that Steve knows his business. I'm the proud owner of the 8 bore that he built that's on the bore rifles page and it handles and shoots as good as it looks.......pictures dont do it justice. I've handled and owned guns that were much more expensive and thier workmanship pales to Steve's. I probably would have never gotten into muzzle loading if I hadn't seen that 8 bore here.

On a related note. Can Real Black Powder be obtained in SA or do you have to use a substitute?

Oh - fluted barrel, nice touch - guess it was too heavy without the flutes.

Daryl, the fluted barrel ML is a smaller calibre. Not the 4-bore pictured. Look at the link and the story will tell you. An interesting story.
