Dude, that video clip was lifted from the Hambrusch site listed in the links section under double rifle, firearms & accessories. I suppose you can contact them direct for info on that unsightly boltgun.

I appreciate the double rifle shown in that clip and the firing of it.

Anyone else notice that the double did not whack the shooter as abruptly as the bolt? Looked to me like the shooter experienced more hardship with the bolt, recovery time sure was longer with the bolt, as well. The shooter was forced to take little hopes back from the recoil of the bolt but not so with the double rifle. I also agree with the above post---that is one nasty, ugly looking bolt gun.

I noticed the difference between the too as well-the third shot with the bolt it almost looked like he was trying to convince himself to pull the trigger again. As far as the looks, it reminds me of the recent Mossberg bolt 12 gauge(695 maybe??)-if I'm thinking of the right model it has that same "lug" in the stock around the magazine. If the wood would take the pressure that lug could be reduced a lot with a 2 round magazine-might improve cosmetics a bit then-Interesting looking if nothing else.

That giant bolt gun would run about $60,000.00. Peter Hambraush is not building anymore of the 700 nitro bolts guns. His single shot 700 is about 45,000 and the double is about 75,000. He says the 700 bolt gun took too much time to build and it was not worth it. He will sell the existing 700 bolt gun if someone would actually want it. He also makes a 4 bore double rifle for about 116,000 dollars. All very well made guns, but also very expensive.

Geez, a pittily 75 G's... let me go to one of my many piggy banks and pull out some of the loose change.... hahahaha

Yea, I am having a double barrel "conversion gun" made largely in part because of the ridiculously exorbitant costs of double rifles.

Peter Hambraush doesn't make anything that is not expensive. He must be doing something right, been in business along time.

Just for those curious folks that want to run out and buy one, the 700 Saurian rifle has a 2 year wait and costs 146,200 dollars.

I want that double and whatever heavy duty recoil pad he's wearing under that jacket.

I don't !

Notice that the third round didn't feed - or else he just short-stroked it.

I contacted him when I saw that video , and he said he built the bolt gun for promotional purposes and I could have it for I think $43000 Euros ..

If I had it , I wudda gotten it , think he said the bolt was 18.5 pounds ...

I could be wrong, but I thought the third round fed, and he reopened the bolt a bit to doublecheck for whatever reason. As far as wanting one,no thanks on the ,700 but I'd LOVE to have that little .22 Hornet double that was shown for comparison(if that's what it was, haven't watched the video for some time, but I thought there was Hornet ammo under it). .700 is impressive to see but about as far as I want to come to shooting it is watching someone else(heaviest ammo I've shot was 3 1/2 inch buckshot in an 870, can't imagine shooting something like that)-it is impressive that a firearm that size can be made and used though.
