I just enjoyed viewing Allen Moon's site and had a few questions.

Does he offer several levels of hunts?

1. Quarter Moon (for the working stiff)
2. Half Moon (for the white collar guy)
3. Full Moon (for Mr. Gotbucks)
4. New Moon (for first timers)

And, (With all due respect. I mean that) a special tailored hunt for our good friend here on the forum, iqbal...a Crescent Moon...

No no no no you've got it all wrong!
"Full" moon is actually referring to the state of my wallet after I show clients some photos of my film (video) crew.
Clients immediately start begging to extend their safari time and also offer signed blank cheques/credit cards etc.
It's a HARD life!

Yeah, yeah...right, right...and Aussies don't drink beer... try another one on me, mate!

Where are all the smart replys?

I was sure the first reply was going to be ..."after the hunt and Alan empties our wallets, and fills his...its a "HARVEST MOON"...

Everybody was probably just cracking up.

Moonie,

I think I've heard about a video of yours...Wasn't it "Buffie does the Swag"...maybe not...

Maybe that was on a different site.

Kidding aside, how long or short are your hunts, and what is the best time of the year to plan on comming down? Do you have any secret advice as to travel from the US, also.

I have to hunt on a regular guy's wages, and need to get the best bang for the buck. I welcome your advice.

Size really does matter ya know so the longer the better!
5 days is really the minimum, up to however long you want.
Sept-Oct is the best hunting time there.
The best secret advice I can give is don't try swimming, by the time ya get here you'll be too old and too stuffed ta hunt!

That rifle you asked about is a O/U Purdy Woodward Boss Holland action fitted with (as you can see in the photo) beautifull chrome plated barrels and is chambered in 460 Weatherby, a nice low pressure cartridge and a classic in its own right!

Well burst my bubble...! I already bought the very best water wings I could find...cost a buck three ninety five!

As to the chrome...I feel sooo foolish...thought it was a 1957 Caddy... I could tell that the caliber was the famous "eargeschplittinloudenboomer"...made famous by Daisey.
