I agree with you that comments can be very worthwile, but I personally do not feel the need to post things like "me too", "+1", ... (a dangerous statement, I know)

I prefer conflicting information and the process of working out which of the views is correct (without resorting to name calling and nitpicking).

I love this site, I wish I had more time to enjoy it. A question though, it seems to me, when I first joined, there was a separate forum on smithing a dr up from dbl shotgun which I found intensely interesting. Has that forum been culled? Or is it my imagination and it was merely a number of threads mixed into this forum and I'm just not finding them?

That forum is alive and doing quite well. It's title is "Building Double Rifles & Gunsmithing". It has been designated a "members only" forum, so you have to be signed in to see it on the front page.

If you are signed in you will see it just below the Double Rifle Photo and Archive forum.

I could load up the board about my gopher and rock chuck shooting!!! Like ysterday 13 rock chucks in less than 10 minutes from one spot...and made one farmer very happy. I like to take pictures, gopher hunting fits my budget and I tend to only use english singles...

As one fella whi is new to the doublerifles, I must say "Thanks" to all of you for your advice. I'm at 2 Merkels and a Heym now. But my wife is more powerful than all of you, and has temporarily curbed my buying! BuT I'm lovin it! You guys are a great resource, often referred to by other websites. Keep it up!
