The rifle looks kinda small. Maybe a 450 BPE OR 500 BPE?

Oops...I was wro...wron...w.w.w.wron...Can't say that "w" word...but it means I was not exactly right.

The "trouser mouse" turned out to be the hammer on his rifle.

The animals are all what Bakes mentioned, the place however seems to be somewhere in India because of the type of animals and the architecture. The hunter is a "gora sahib"a term used for englishmen.

I happen to have another picture of this same hunter with the trophies from only one hunt! About the same amount of animals as your photo, and taken in the same archway! The rifle he is holding looks to be a Jones under lever, back action, double rifle, with a cross pin latch for the foreend, which would make this rifle a very early breech loading double rifle! Most likely a a Westley Richards 450 BP EXpress! The rifle is easier to see in my picture!

The animals are defintely middle Eastern, most likely India,or Pakistan. As far as I know there has never been bear, or tiger in Africa, and there at least three Ibex, a couple Markor and what looks like Audad sheep, and a Chital.

"Gora" literaly means "fair" but in the context of "gora sahib" it refers to the white skinned englishman or any other white skinned foreigner.
Regarding the parts for the 7mm.mag.i tried the web site 'GUN PARTS"but could not get the part nos.in orger to place the order. If you could get me the right part nos.i would be greatful.
