base shotgun for a .45-70 double rifle conversion

i have been told my A.H.Fox Sterlingworth is inadequate for .45-70 pressures. what would be a good gun for a conversion to this caliber.

I have built a DR 45-70gov from a Merkel 8 kal 20 with good result.
