i have a double barrel A.H.Fox Sterlingworth that has been cut to 23", queering its collector value. i would like to have a conversion to rifle caliber done on it. it is very tight and in good condition. i have heard of sleeves being used with the original barrels, and custom barrel fabrications. can i get some advice on this. maybe a referral for the work, thanks!

I would not want to use that lockup for a centerfire rifle. The pressures are much too high for the design. Consider converting it to a sxs 20bore rifle. The pressures are much more acceptable, and its a great round for whitetail size critters.
