9.3x74r DR info???

Hi Guys,

I'm the happy owner of a new 9.3 double and was wondering if there was any printed material like books, etc. on medium sized doubles. I see alot of info regarding DG doubles, but not much regarding the medium bores. I have looked through the posts and could not find any reference to medium bores anywhere, so I hope I am not asking a question that has alread been addressed. I appreciate anything you share with me and I love this site. It is awesome!!!

There have been many posts on Medium bores. Unfortunately they are mostly buried in other threads and under names that don't register as medium bores.

Many here have them, from the 9.3 down to the 275R.

I have a 9.3, 8x57JR and a 303 that I shoot with great pleasure.

As to books on Med. Bores, I know of none. Everyone is caught up in the Big Bore aspect without realizing how nice and interesting the Mediums are.

Re books, you are more likely to find European books
on Medium bores as this is where the Medium bore DR is most popular.

Try this one, "Fine European Gunmakers: Best Continental European Gunmakers & Engravers" by Marco Nobili Primarily photos, but several shots of outstanding DRs in smaller calibers including 9.3X74R. Dave
