Trophy came in!

HI all,

My red stag skull and antlers finally came in from my January hunt. Now I've got to finsih them up in a nice European mount.

This will be a very fine and symmetrical trophy mount.
I enjoyed the account of your hunt and the photographs.
My mind drifts back to times long gone, whenever I see examples of the old buildings, homes, fortifications, etc. With solid awareness of the depth and scope of Europe's military history, I am so often struck at its' great beauty, still.

It will make a nice European skull mount on a shield. I would even use it as a hat or coat rack. It would also look lovely in a small cabin somewhere in the mountains or woods.
