This is a drawing of engrave.
It's a project for a new realization.

What do you think about it??

Fine looking design Roland!
Very nice looking leaf work and fills the space in a uniform fashion, I like the flow of the pattern.

Cest Bon!

Beautiful! If it isn't too much trouble I would love to see work in progress photos as you make this drawing a reality. What firearm is it going on?

Afflicted but this is a project.
It must still find an amateur for this realization.
Sometimes I make a project on order but not always, here I had an inspiration, now it is necessary to find the customer.
Here it plane of is juxtaposed which can be appropriate for all the marks, it will just be necessary to make some adaptations.
If you know somebody! ;-)
For example in the same style. It's a finsh plate but here it's a part in gold.

Roland,

Looks great!

Would you mind to answer an engraving question for me? I understand you have been in the field for a long time, so I thought you would be the right person to ask. When someone is a beginning engraver, I assume that from time to time he will make an error. How can engraving errors be blended in so that they are not obvious in the finished product?

No problem.
I am always in the trade, I am 35 years old and of long years in front of me.
For the errors, there are the worse and goods engraver ;-)
If one were mistaken, there is necessary to file again the engraved feature, it is not an other solution.
It's possible to intergrate the line with ornement too.
