Best coating for a all weather rifle?

What is the best coating to order on a all weather rifle? Teflon, Satin Chrome finish? Do you need to have the working part specially coated? It looks like most custom makers do not use SS action but Chrome molly.

I had Seercoat (sp) put on my .375 Winchester Classic Stainless. It now has a very nice flat black finish. Serengetti Stock Works did it for me.

A good rust blue, then use a paste wax before the hunt if a hunt for extended periods (all of hunts in Alaska are). Tape over the muzzle and nightly maintenance. A little care while in the field and you'll be fine.
