DuggaBoy,

Did you get to handle it at all?

I wonder how they handle.

While definitely not traditional, I would be willing to try a bolt action double repeater. I try to stay open to new ideas.

Also R93's are supposed to be fast on the reload, so I wonder about the reloading speed? However having heard about the need to "positively" close a R93's bolt, I wonder if the potential problem is not compounded with two of them at ONCE!

John, like most double rifles it was quite heavy as most R93's are so light weight, yet if you were used to shooting a blaser R93, as i am, I dont think there would be a issue with the straight pull action closing up.

Not sure if such a rifle will ever take off, but it sure was interesting to see. I think I would still prefer a traditional double however.

Cheers, Tony.
