I have now fired nearly 200 rounds through this rifle and it is performing better than I expected. If it was an ejector model, it would be the ducks nuts. I have now been able to regulate it with 250 Ballistic tips, 250 grain woodleigh PP, 270 grain speers and I am working on Lapua and woodleigh 286 grain projectiles. The barrel regulator actually works very well and it is easy to fine tune the regulation. It does not appear to have a preference for spitzers or round nose projectiles, they all work. The 250 and 270 grains are coming out at 2300fps out of the 24 inch barrel. These are not maximum loads, but they are where I want to be. Having the ability to choose different weight projectiles for different situation certainly increases the flexibility of this outfit. Another few weeks and I hope to be able to select the best load/accuracy combination for the majority of my shooting with this rifle.

Congratulations on you new double.
I have taken a lot of game with my 9,3x74R.
The 286gr Woodleigh is my favorite soft.
It works for game from coyote to cape buff. If I could use only one soft that would be the one.
The 286 Nosler Partition works great as well.

I have used the 270 Speer for deer and wild pigs also with excellent results.
