Hi All

I'm pretty excited - I just got a new 20G Beretta shotty (thanks Dr Deth!) . It is a 627EL Sport but it seems to have much more elaborate engraving than the model would suggest. I think it is about 15YO. Apparently it was one of only 3 that came to Australia when they were released. I will chase up the provenance of the gun with Beretta, when I get a chance but if anyone has any info on this type and 627's in general I would appreciate it - because as Shultz says "I know nothing!" - I just got it cause I like it - it is a sweet little gun!

Had a look after your phone call, found this:

627EL-20 Sideplates

Side-plated box-lock by the looks. Very nice! Is a 20-bore going to 'cut the mustard' on Territory geese?

...one way to find out!


PS: looks like one of the triggers has fallen off!

Dont know about the 20G on geese - I have a hard enough time with a 12G!! Maybe you could build some 2 3/4" N0.2's for me? Got any cases?
