NitroX

which wine do you produce and sell?
I have been known to un cork a bottle or two of Aussie red and I would certainly like to support you if even only in a small way.
I am sure that there are many others on the board that feel the same way.

The wine Mehul posted is very close to home. It is an excellent wine and if you are after a very good Barossa Aussie Shiraz it is one of the better ones. The 2002 was named the best shiraz in the world.

We get several cases a year at a heavily discounted price. Connections.

NitroX,

I was hoping they were your wines. I shall order one of these bottles for Valentine's Day but do let us know when your wines sell here. Like Ann and DT, I would certainly buy your wines if I knew where they were available in the US. Thanks in advance for the information, and,

Cheers!

NitroX could you recommend some inexpensive Australian wines?
I've tasted couple of redwines that comes near by you. I find that Rosemount GSM is guite tasty with moose steaks.
Last time I've tasted whitewine that comes from Australia I've tried Kangaroo Ridge Semillon Chardonnay which also comes from South Eastern Australia. I like it but i'ts definitely not those master of art wines.

NitroX

Do you export your wines to North America at all?
It seems that we have a great deal more selection of Aussie wines here in Canada than there is in the U.S. (something to do with Commonwealth and Empire and all that)conversely the drinkers in the States have a far better selection of California vintages than we will ever see here. At any rate,I was wondering if your wares were available to us here in the great white north.

No, only "expensive" ones.

What do you call "expensive" ie price wise?

Reasonable price for wine is about half of the price of whiskey bottle or under that. Because there is under half of the "payload" of the Whiskey.
Max 15 Euro is appropriate for my wallet.

Honestly "payload" should have nothing to do with it. Drink good wine with good food and it will be a pleasurable experience.

My wife is the CEO of Barossa Valley Estates. All of their wines I have tasted have been enjoyable at the different price points.

St Hallett Wines make good reds and whites too.

The Penfolds reds are usually fine drinking.

Peter Lehmann Wines are usually fine too.

Henschke Wines are almost always worth drinking.

Really there are thousands of different labels.

Some regions - Barossa for good shiraz, grenache and semillon. Eden Valley (part of the Barossa) for great rieslings. Coonawarra for excellent cabernet sauvignons. As a start.

When I am after the good wine I am not after the payload. Thank's for the tips.

Saw this older post. What Australian wines do you see in Finland?

In past years a lot of Aust wine exported to Scandanavia was in bulk (ie container bag sort of thing). I assume bottled there by the State liquor monopolies. At least in Sweden.

I don't know of any Aussie winemakers visiting Finland though probably some do. Actually a winemaker from Barossa Valley Estates spent 3 months in Finland with his girlfriend, last year, so maybe they do visit.
