If you do a search on the subject, you'll probably find a few titles. In fact, you can find Wright's book mentioned a few subject lines below.

They bid me take my place among
them in the Halls of Valhalla,
Where the brave may live forever.

Michael McIntosh has a book out about the Big Bores. Do a search on Amazon, and you'll find a few used copies. Not cheap, but it's supposed to have a lot of pics in it. HTH.

Dave,
I have the Chris Austyn book, however I am away from home now. If you have any questions regarding it, I'll be happy to go thru it for answers when I get home. Let me know.

Armbar.

There is a book by an Italian. Can't remember his name or the books title. It is in Italian but has gorgeous pictures of wood and engraving.

Saul something???

Dave, Yes I enjoyed the book. It does have alot of pictures, mostly black and white, but some color. I dont remember how much I paid or where I got it but I'm glad I have it. Go for it!

Armbar.

I have read a great many books on doubles(shotguns or rifles) and I always come to:
- Greener: The Gun...
- Gerald: The Modern Shotgun
- Barthold: Jagdwaffenkunde
Even these books give only a brief look at the essentials.
