Wood Laminated Stocks

Has anyone ever put a laminated stock on a new Double.I seen custom bolts done in them for looks and the little added weight.Dave.

I'm sure someone has. Searcy once built a Double with a Graphite Stock. I can't see a reason to do it though.

Most Doubles cost enough that good wood is standard. If you are replacing a stock it would be silly, IMO, to spend $2000 for a stocker and $300 for the wood.

It certainly wouldn't help any resale.

People do some nasty things to guns.Replacing a peice of wood with synthetic is one.I saw a used 2,000 dollar o/u shotgun one time that someone camoed at home.That redneck needed slapped,hard.Dave
