JohnK,
Is this your rifle? How about telling us more about it? How does she shoot?

Yes it is my rifle. It took 9 months for delivery. It shoots very well. Easy to regulate. I have settled on 115 gn Reloader 22 with 500 gn Woodleigh projectiles and I am using Norma Brass. Average velocity over chronograph is 2090 ft/sec. Very little difference in velocity between barrels. Very accurate, in fact better than my eyes will now let me shoot. I have taken a couple of large scrub bulls with it and as you would expect, it performed very well. As you can see from the photos, the wood is very nice and the engraving is of the same standard. The finish is also excellent. I am very happy with the rifle in both looks and performance.

Very nice. Are the scrub bulls future practice for something bigger and meaner?

NitroX,
One can only hope. I go up to the NT each year so will no doubt give it a run up there. Hope to have a good look for buff.

That stock looks like it has more drop than the S2 rifles that I have handled.

I have handled several Blaser Double Rifles, 30-06 to 500 Nitro, and their drillings, when I shoulder them the sights are always lined up just right for me.
My D 99 Duo fits me perfect. Funny thing is it fits my wife great too. First time she handled it I almost "lost" it.

What is the purpose of the hood over the breech?

On the Blaser doubles, drillings and the single shot that is where they lockup.
