Please excuse this posting on this forum - the link to double rifles is very tenuous - one Krieghoff 470 NE double offered as a prize - but I thought this was the forum that received most visitors and hence was the most appropriate one.

I don't believe for politcial donations it is acceptable for these sorts of funds to accept foreign donations.

I applied for a ticket in an SCI Big Five Safari lottery once and they returned the cheque saying it was against the law for them to accept it from a foreign based contributor ie for political funds.

Our US members, is this true?

Thank you very much for the correct title and for updating this page. Yes, the NRA Political Victory Fund can accept donations only from US residents and the amount that it can receive is also regulated by law as far as I know. That is why this raffle is only for citizens and residents of the USA. With hundres of thousands of members in the NRA the chances of winning are roughly equal to those of winning the Lott, but I still think this kind of thing is a very good idea.

Hopefully, gun owners in other countries would take this to heart and come up with similar ways of lobbying politicians effectively and organise themselves better.
