Replica Martini Henry actions / rifles ?

Saw a question on another forum where a guy was asking for information on modern built Martini Henry actions and/or rifles.

Now I am sure I have seen these somewhere before on the net and forget the details. Can anyone here help?

Never heard of them.

It would be a fools venture to make them right now as the IMA has a large Cache of the orginals in fabulous condition they are selling.

There have been those who have ventured in and out of the idea to build the small Francotte pattern like made by BSA. But the quickly wander off onto something else.

With the thousands of Matini actioned guns out there, why would you bother tooling up - it's not like they are gold or extremely valuable - and just how big would the market be ?

Hubel and associates talked about up-scaling the Greener Martini action for their 12GAfromHELL. Unlike many key-board dreamers, those guys actually deliver, so I suspect they made good on the Monster Martini action.

Ed may chime in to confirm.....?

First if you need anything Martini you should have this page book marked http://www.martinihenry.com/links.htm

On there you will find just about anything you could need for Martini, including:

IMA - http://www.ima-usa.com

Atlanta Cutlery - http://www.atlantacutlery.com/webstore/homepage.asp

They are the same company actually. If you order from IMA your rifle will be shipped from Atlanta.
