South Africa B.E.E.

B.E.E. stands for Black Economic Empowerment, one of these trendy advertising company slogans to sell to the masses.

Basically I understand it involves taking businesses from white people in South Africa and giving it to black people. And that a select group probably not many more than a hundred politically connected blacks have been the recipitants.

Sound like a Mugabe land confiscation scheme to you? It does to me, take, steal, or acquire assets from "whitey" and give to "crony". Hopefully a son, daughter, cousin or nephew whom can kick back the income back to Dad or Uncle.

Mbeki, is this the reason why Mugabe is not up your nose?

It will not be long before any business connected with public property such as in National Parks or doing significant business with the government ends up in their hands or majority owned (stolen).

Then the stupid black in the street, finally seeing the corruption. demands his share, and the landowners "pay"
the bill for that one - so the peasant can hoe an acre or two and poach the buck in the hills.

Then they ask for food as they can no longer feed themselves as a country.

Fellows, do your hunting in SAf in the next ten years. I hope not but unless Robber Bob gets made an example with a bullet what will stop these other clowns?

Nitro, thanks for the massage.Hold your horses with that 10 year statement.We won't give up that easy.The biggest area of land owend in RSA belongs to white people and that will stay like that for a very long time if not forever.

A good friend of mine is a mechanical engineer with a unversity degree and his boss is a 30 year old black man with a qualification similar to grade 12 on school level.This is the Black empowerment scheme of the government.Our government institutions is f....d and the service is poor, no, terrible.But onm the other hand we are slowly going from manual labour to mechanical and computerized machinery.Thank heavens because they don't demand and increase nor a bonus and the work when you want them to work.We are hanging in here and it won't be as easy for Thabo Mbeki to pul a fast one like Mugabe.

South-Africa is also a to big player in the international market for other countries not to get involved.I am sure the rest of the world wont turn a blind eye like with Zimbabwe.

Tell Pres.Bush if he is finished in Irak he can send his troops to zim for target practise.There is a lot of ZanuPF S500 Mercedes Benz's that makes excellent moving targets and that his stingers is just the guns for them.
