Hi guys,

I've just moved back to Hawaii and I'm thinking about getting a Brittany here. Unfortunately the breeders here are a bit thin on the ground. And importing a dog from the rest of the States is difficult with the rabies quarantine. A couple of fellow hunters here recommended buying a gun dog in Oz or New Zealand since you don't have rabies either.

Any leads or thoughts would be most welcome.

New Zealand would be a good place to start.
I hunted with a mate (pheasant) with what I think
are Brittany Spaniels.

I still think you may have to go through some quarantine
but a hell of a lot less than a rabies country.

I can try to get a few names for you if you want.
