Ruger #1 9.3x4R Barrel Twist??
      #60143 - 20/07/06 07:37 AM

Can anyone confirm the barrel twist of a Ruger #1 in 9.3x74R. There was some mention a while back that the twist was reported to be 1 in 22" which seems unlikely.

Corbin - I'd expect it to be closer to 1 in 12 to 1 in 16. Due to the twist being planned primarily for the 286 to 293 gr. factory ammo, I suspect 1 in 12 is the proper twist.
: You could easily e-mail Ruger for confirmation on which twist they actually use.
