Looks like a nice rifle. The man says the bores show slight frosting, but rifling is crisp. Weight is 11 lbs, 2 oz. Said to have been redone in England by Ray St. Ledger. Built about 1905. I have no idea who built it for A&N. It wasn't Webley, Leonard, or Wilkes.

What's wrong with people actually coming HERE to read double rifle threads? Many are members of both sites and if they are truly interested in double rifles, maybe its time they found out about NitroExpress.com.

I am always suspicious of double rifles that have been externally restored to mint and have no trust whatever in the average seller's claims about bore condition. Be careful.

Actually, John, nothing is wrong with that. Perhaps, if I had suggested that Dan post a link to this thread on AR there wouldn't be this question?

I would have already done that, except that I didn't want to post it there if Dan didn't want it there.

Feel free to post a link over on AR. Someone might be interested in the rifle or might know something about it.

In the past I have posted parallel threads on AR and NE but found it confusing and redundant. But a link might work out well.
