Here it is, the Single Shot Hunting & Shooting forum.

For those disciplined shooters and hunters who must wait for the right shot or forgo the opportunity until next time.

Often crack shots the true single shot aficianado.

Nitro,
Thanks for this forum. These rifles are where my heart truly lies. No other rifle has as much "soul" or class as a truly well made singleshot rifle.

I personally prefer falling block style actions, but they are all wonderful.

No problem fellows.

When I set this forum up I thought I must get one one day ........ then realised I already have three in the safe.

I would love a really featherweight one in a flat shooting mountain rifle however.

When you go about looking for a nice singleshot, don't forget the Hagn's.

Very nice.

Those silver vertical lines on the forends. They aren't part of a take-down system are they?

I bet these are NOT cheap.

I believe they are, but am not completely sure. I actually "lifted" those from Westley Richards website, they are for sale. I think the Hagn action is about $2K USD. Not too bad, actually, for what it is.

By the way Nitro,
The 3 rifles together in that one image are chambered for the 577, 450-3 1/4, and 375 Flanged.

Just thought you might like to know.
