Gunshops in India or New Zealand?

I'm considering taking a vacation with the possability of picking up a rifle or two along the way. I see a few shop in New Zealand that look worth stopping in and doing a bit of looking. I have yet to figure out how guns are sold in India. Are there Gunshops that retail guns? How in the heck are people finding them there? I'm leaning towards New Zealand myself, more for the beauty of the land than any thing else. Thanks,

Bouldersmith,

There is an Indian Yahoo Group called Indians4Guns and they have their own forums coming up though they are only test forums at the moment at www.indiansforguns.com

Just post there and ask the questions you want to. The members are usually aware of what is available in which gun shop depending on which part of India you plan on visiting and they would also warn you if a dealer is a crook.
