Alain Vaussenat's improved Heeren action

Alain Vaussenat's V 98 action was written up by Raymond Caranta in Gun Digest many years ago and I corresponded with him a bit. The first rifle of this type made for sale was to an American collector in 7mm-08 though I am not aware if he ahs sold many more in the USA or outside France. I wonder whether anyone here has any experience with them. M Vaussenat has been a very nice man to correspond with, in the past.

I'd love to have one myself, but didn't dare ask the price question.

Vaussenat also makes fine bolt action rifles though he doesn;t list them on his website for some reason, preferring to concentrate on his single shots.
