I'm looking for a couple of those, but the only one I find, is from Blaser in Germany. Are there any others brands???

I am sure there was a post about these a while ago however I cannot find it in my search. Hopefully someone else will remember.

I've been using the Boyt carrier. It's a five round carrier and they have ten round carriers also. Been looking for a six round, but nothing yet.

Send a pm to Ratel74 on this board. He can make you anything you want and I am pretty sure that they make something exactly like that called the Duo. I am planning to get some of his ammo carriers myself. From what I have seen they are of excellent quality.

I have one of those two-cartridge carriers, they do call that the 'Duo'

I like it. Although I haven't taken it out on a hunt yet, I have fired cartridges from out of it on my belt. Works well for me, I park it on my belt where I'd typically put a magazine pouch if I were carrying an autoloading pistol.
Handy and neat, the leatherwork was very nicely done -- Ratel had me send him a couple of cartridges and they made the carrier specifically for my ammunition (a nonstandard BPE round)
The price was good too!

I don't see any reason why it couldn't be run on a wrist strap or on the sling or reciever of a gun as shown in the top post.

Now I know these aren't leather, and they don't look as cool next to your oak/leather case when you are showing off the double to your buddies, but they are inexpensive, functional and they hold the round ready for easy access.

I've used this rig since '96 and it's never failed me.
Another nice feature is that you can load up several for a fast swap for solids or softs or different calibers!
Belt and holders come from Uncle Mikes!

The elastic gets my vote as well. A lot more forgiving in harsh weather and with non nimble fingers.

Of course, it doesn't look as cool as a bandolier draped across your chest with nitro loads in it.

Wonder if Cindy Garrison has a garter belt pouch?

I'd better stop right there.
