Which would be your choice?

The model 76. Why a single shot in a DG calibre?

I would love to pick up a model 10 in 257 Roberts though!

The .375 is not just for DG, but can take DG when needed. A "sinlge" shot is no disadvantage when the DG is not charging and they are no-brainers to reload.

For the 375, I'd also go with the 76.

76 would be my choice over a 10 in calibre .375H&H also if DG are to be hunted a model 10 has no ejector it is extractor only and a quick reload may be needed but if no DG it would be ok but I think it may be a bit light for the calibre/recoil

Doesn't take long for the no-brainer situation turns into a stomp your a$$ situation... Go with the 76...

I went with the 76. The 10 was simply too light for a .375 H&H. I also picked up a swarovski 1.25-4 for it.

Good desicion! Good rifle! Good scope combo!, I am thinking of getting a Dakota 76 in 375H&H in Left Hand . Keep us informed of how your new rifle shoots. Thanks

Great decision. You won't regret it. I have a 76 African Traveler in 416 Rigby with an extra barrel in 338 Lapua (same length action).

Out of the box, the 416 was more accurate at 100 yards than the 338, which I am told is common in Dakota's.
