BRNO 602 rifles

I used to own a BRNO 602 in .458 wm. It was a 1985 model with the barrel band / sling swivel. I notice the later model 602s lost the barrel band at some stage. Does anyone know what year BRNO dropped the barrel band from their rifles...?

My 602 in .375 from 1985 does not have the barrel band, and if I remember correctly, neither does my early '70 model. If you contact ALF on this site, he will probably have an answer to your question.
