When you are posting a picture it asks for the web page but then it posts the way I did. How do you get it to just print the picture the way you did?

To post pics;

All you have to do is copy the box in photobucket under the photo you want to post that has Url to the left of it. then you just click the image button under the dialog box when you post here. This will open a window asking for the image url. This is what you copied from photobucket. paste it there and you are done.

Otherwise I think you can just copy the box on photobucket that says Img next to it for the image you want to show and paste it directly in the message body.

See... Clear as mud!

That is what I did, however, after that it asks for the web page. When you put that in it only posts the location.

How are you doing on your Lang?

See... it works... Just copy the address next to where it says Img directly into your post.

I'm not sure about photobucket, but on picturetrail.com
I select the picture i want to post and then I use the right mouse button and "right click" on the picture. A pop up window opens. Left click on the" properities" tab. Anothe window opens. on the "URL" address
such as this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v392/CFA/.jpg
"highlight" that address HTTP:. . . . . . .jpg.
You "highlight" that address by putting your cursor infront of the HTTP: address and while pressing your left mouse button and "drag" the cursor to the end of the address.

while this is still highlighted press cntrl C. this will copy that address.

Now when you go to your post and want to put in a picture select the "IMAGE" tab
when that window opens just press cntrl V and it will paste the HTTP: address in the address box and then press OK.

that is all there is to it!

I understand how you get it there, it's after you get the URL posted a line come up asking for the web page it came from then it posts the way I did. Perhaps I can just ignore the web page request.

When you are creating your post you can select either URL or Image from the "Instant UBB Code" menu below the text box. Be sure that you are posting with the "Image" button and not the "URL" button. The image's URL goes in the Image box. If you put in in a URL box it will show as a link.

Thanks for the clarification.

Bulldog now I know why your name is Bulldog. I will post some pictures of my Lang if not now as soon as I get back from a little blue water fishing in the Gulf. That Lang also came from George.

Ha... Your Lang is really supposed to be something and I would like to see it. No rush though. Have fun fishing. I am going fishing myself in July to Idaho and Alaska. Looking forward to it.
