Hi there;
Just registered and thought I would introduce myself and get another free chance at a ticket.
I like rifles, particularly English and German. I have a couple banging around and will post some pictures if anyone seeems interested.
Just looking around right now. Ah, SafariHunt and Gryphon.

What will it be Sir?
A straight Laphroaig, On the rocks, a Captain's & Coke, maybe an Amarula with ice, or I know a Pimm's with ginger for the afternoon?
This bar is open 24 hours a day.
Yes please post pics of your fantastic doubles.

Nice to see you again, small world Huh? If we're in Africa I'll take an Amarula, hold the ice. If we're in Aus. just some of your wine and a few pasties.
What do you think of this.
It's a 10 Bore H & H Paradox. An 8 bore then the 10 Bore in the middle then a 600 NE

Man after my own heart. English Shotguns do it for too, though for some reason all my shotguns are German.
When the bar opens I'll have a beer. Top shelf if your buying.

aaeehhhh
Another one. Have you shot it? I was wondering how accurate a paradox is - with the partly rifled barrel.
The 10-bore and 8-bore cartridges almost make a 600 Nitro seem small. Almost.
And yes if you do make down this way we can open some nice reds. My "cellar" has filled nicely and now I am forced to drink eleven year old Cabernets and Shiraz's just to make room.

I can't believe you think I'd "make' you drink anything you didn't want too! Perhaps I should bring a bottle of good Washington wine?
Here is a close up of the Holland. It is quite accurate with the duplex load I use but I havn't shot it at anything other than milk jugs. The person I bought it from shot a Water Buff. with it and he said it penitrated almost end to end.
A 700 grn roundball at around 1200 fps. I would like to take it Turkey Hunting this Spring and maybe shoot a pig with is at the same time. Weather permitting.

There is a term "cruel and inhuman punishment"
The close-ups almost render you guilty of that.
When you have time, keep them coming.
"Washington wine" - is that something you make from cranberries?

I feel sorry for you having to drink that "old" wine. Shame you didn't drink it when it was fresh.

The state of Washington actually has some wonderful wineries. One of my favorites is Chateau St. Michele. Their cabernet as well as their chardonay are both excellent, and inexpensive-great value.
