This has most likely been asked before.....who makes the absolute best quick detach 1 inch scope mounts for a CZ 550 safari that will stand up to the 458 Lott ??
Thats easy.. CZ does! they are not the best to look at but certainly the strongest.. Just replace the factory allen head screw(I kept mine, just carry the wrench in my kit) with a lever type screw..
Ya-know... You might want to think real hard about scope mounting your Lott.. Just my 2cts..
I have Talleys on my 550 9.3X62. They are superior to the factory rings in every way IMHO. I think the factory rings that came with my rifle look like crap, and look totally out of place, when compared to the fairly nicely finished metal of the rifle itself. I belive the Talley's would withstand the recoil of a Lott, whether or not a scope will, is another matter A 2-1/2X Leupold might make it.
