Is Oz more free than the USA?

In Oz, you guys can shoot donkeys if you want.

But in 1973, the U.S. Congress passed legislation to outlaw the shooting of wild horses and burros. Last year two fellows went to federal prison for shooting half a dozen of them in Nevada.

Meanwhile the wild horses and burros overgraze their habitat and occasionally spread disease to cattle herds.

If we had kangaroos here in the U.S., I am sure they would be protected as well.

The question of "is Oz more free than the USA"...I've lived in both places and the answer to that is absolutely not.

I don't think you can legally shoot 'Roos in Aus. anymore. nOt without some special permits.

You can still shoot Wild Horses in BC. If the neighbors don't catch you.

Almost every 'free-type' country will have aspects more free or lenient than the others, yet none have ALL of it.

We may be fighting alongside you guys for
Democracy and Freedom but our government
here does not extend this to us.

We are getting to the stage here where you can't
do anything anymore.
